Who we are

At The Play Garden, we are inspired by Little Garden Montessori’s founding vision. Nina Bartholomew created a primary school that was grounded in community—an environment where children could grow with confidence and independence, surrounded by a supportive and engaged network of families. As a natural extension of this vision, Toddler Time was born: a caregiver and me class for children aged 1 to 3 years, where that same focus on community thrives.

As mothers ourselves, we wanted to create a space that would serve the needs of families—offering classes that foster meaningful connections, a play space designed with the whole family in mind, and resources that empower parents and caregivers. The Play Garden is a place where families can find not just enrichment for their children, but a true sense of belonging.
