Welcome to our FAQ page! We know families have lots of questions—and we’re here to make things simple. Below you'll find all the details about our membership options, drop-in pricing, and what to expect when you visit The Play Garden.
What’s included in a Play Garden membership?
Memberships include:
Unlimited classes each week
Unlimited free play sessions
1 guest pass per month (2 for family memberships)
20% off birthday party rentals
Welcome gift + loyalty gift after 3 months
Priority booking for events and workshops
Access to our Caregiver & Me fitness classes
How much does a membership cost?
Individual Membership: $110/month
Family Membership (up to 2 children): $135/month
Add an additional child: +$20/month
Founding Member Rates (available for a limited time!):
Individual: $95/month
Family: $115/month
Can I still attend without a membership?
Yes! We offer flexible options for families who aren’t ready for a membership yet:
Drop-in class: $20 per class
Free Play: $17 per hour
We do recommend registering in advance, as space is limited.
What is the $20 first-timer promo?
New families can enjoy one full week of unlimited classes and free play for just $20! This is a one-time offer to help you get to know our space and see if membership is a good fit for your family.
Do class packs still exist?
As of April 1st, class packs are no longer available for purchase. However, if you previously bought one, don’t worry—your remaining visits will be honored for a full year from the purchase date.
What if I miss a class?
With a membership, there’s no stress about missing a class. Come as often as you’d like each week! There are no penalties for skipping a day. If you signed up for a Drop-In but are unable to make it, as long as you cancel ahead of time, that class will be put back into your account to be used at a different time.
How do I cancel my membership?
We understand that plans change! To cancel your membership, just text us at +1 (218) 489-5948 or email us at theplaygarden@littlegardenmontessori.org
We’ll help wrap things up, process the cancellation, and answer any questions you have about remaining visits or upcoming bookings.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes! We’re happy to pause your membership if you’re traveling, taking a break, or have something come up.

What should I bring with me to The Play Garden?
Just bring your child, a pair of socks for each of you (we're a shoe-free space), and anything your little one might need for comfort—like a water bottle or favorite lovey. Snacks are available for purchase onsite.
Is the space designed for specific ages?
The Play Garden is designed for children ages 0–5, with developmentally appropriate materials, climbing structures, and sensory play areas. Our classes are caregiver-and-me style and are adapted for mixed ages.
Can I bring food?
We ask that snacks and drinks be enjoyed in our designated snack area. Nut-free snacks only, please! We also offer snacks and drinks for purchase.
Do I have to stay with my child?
Yes. All of our classes and free play sessions are caregiver-attended. Our space is designed to support bonding, connection, and co-exploration.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 5 minutes early so you and your child can get settled. Doors open right before class begins and close shortly after for safety.
